The real secret sauce

Remember that episode of Game of Thrones when the Starbucks cup was in the scene?

Did they do that on purpose? We’ll never know

That “mistake” generated Starbucks $2 Billion worth of free publicity and probably a priceless amount of publicity for GOT

This type of “mistake” is exactly what you need to be doing in your ads.

Add something in the background, have the talent wear an interesting shirt, have the talent say a word in a weird way

This is to drive engagement

Look how much press this drove ⬇️

I had a winning ad one time that was ONLY working because the talent was wearing a band tee with an indie band that people loved. The comments went crazy

Your job as an ad creator is to drive engagement and get sales

If you give viewers a reason to comment, the algorithm will favor your content and serve it to more people, leading to more conversions

Another example of an ad performing was a random peanut butter jar in the background of my ad

The talent put a peanut butter jar on the shelf behind him and people all felt the need to point that out in the comments

You don’t have to go too crazy but just make it interesting enough for one person to comment and then will all follow

People love pointing out typos. Use that

Test this and let me know how it goes
