Respark your winner

Let’s say you have a winning ad in your ad account and 90% of your spend is pushing that one ad

This is a scary position to be in

Depending on your spend level, this ad can burn out any day

And your business can fully tank because you’ve been so reliant on this one piece of content

Before you experience the ad burnout, you need to iterate

As soon as you see this ad starting to succeed, you need to understand each of the variables that could be causing it to win

What talent is it?

What is the script?

Where did they film?

What’s the call to action/offer?

Did they say something funny?

Are people commenting about a typo in the comments?

Understand where you went right and replicate that.

Cast that talent again and refilm that script in other locations

Cast different talent and film that script

Test everything

Then once you have all of these new creative assets, upload to the ad account and start testing

You need to run these creatives against your top performer because you’re trying to beat that

You may think “this is going to mess everything up” WRONG

You need to find a new winner

And a crazy part about testing is that it’s very possible that a new ad that you upload outperforms the current winner

Don’t wait until you’ve been running this ad for months and then all of a sudden CPA starts to rise and you’re scrambling to film new content

Test everything and test quickly
