Here’s a little habit you can implement into your day to boost your creativity and can result in tons of new ad concepts.
Today’s topic is going to cover how important spending quality time on TikTok is.
Yes, I know everyone is saying how bad social media is for mental health, but we are marketers, and we get to use the excuse that “it’s our job”. 🤪
But seriously, the newest trends are always going to be found on TikTok, and doing some market research is extremely beneficial.
Some great ways to maximize the value of your time is going to your TikTok search, seeing what’s trending, and scrolling through the videos using the sounds and hashtags of those subjects.
Another idea is to create a new account to see what TikTok looks like to the most generic user and try to replicate what a typical FYP video would look like.
I’ve found so many winning creatives while watching either a new account or a different person’s TikTok just scrolling for a few minutes. A perfect example of this is finding the trending “GRWM” (get ready with me) or “POV” video.
These videos are like magnets for consumers, luring them in and making them watch until the end.
The payoff is to see the final makeup look or their outfit all put together, but between the start and end is a minute of space where you can put a sneaky review of a product and CTA.
