4 FB ad concepts you need to know
There’s so much information on YouTube about how to run FB ads
Whether it’s the ad account structure, campaign objective, and different opinions on how to actually film the ad
Here are 4 things you need to understand when running FB ads
You’ve been told the hook is very important for your ad but no one explains what it should consist of
Your hook is basically to intro the viewer into what they’re about to see in the main part of the ad
Along with grabbing the viewers attention and stopping them from their doom scrolling, you need to have an angle of the ad
Example: if you’re selling coffee, explain that your coffee is less acidic, doesn’t cause the typical “coffee bloat”
Your talent needs to be relatable to your audience
I’ve written an email in the past about having talent that looks like your ideal consumer
If you’re selling to 50 year old women, have a 50 year old woman in the ad explaining the product, problem/solution
People watch ads with people that either look like them, or of someone that they want to be (Exactly why models are in every fashion brand)
Keep your script simple
Don’t use any big words. I’d say keep it at a 5th grade level but when I watch Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader, I didn’t know any of the answers
Keep everything simple so that anyone can understand exactly what you’re talking about. No one wants to hear about trigonometry or the scientifics of how your coffee was invented
Make sure your offer is irresistible
If your selling coffee for $20, that does not grab my attention at all
If you’re selling coffee for $25 and it’s on sale from $30 and it comes with a free frother, I’m intrigued
The offer should make the customer feel special and like they’re getting an unbelievable deal
Here is some sauce. I just filmed a YouTube video explaining this in more detail.
